This narration appears on Cast of Wonders #164. The audio was produced and narrated by Rikki LaCoste, and was voice acted by Isis LaCoste and Fiona Van Verth, who is the daughter of Mur Lafferty.
An interesting aspect of the recording: When Rikki initially read over the story, he saw that there were four lines of lullaby that the characters were supposed to sing. Being a musician, a song came into his head. So he soon wrote a lullaby and somehow managed to synchronize both Isis and Fiona to sing the song to the recorded music.

Summary:
When one embarks on a long, one-way journey, there is loss and there are people left behind. Klages provides a tender story about two girls, one of whom is setting out with her parents on a Generation Starship. She has a bucket list of things she wants to do before departure day, and it’s a bittersweet final morning as she and her friend head out on their bikes, in an adept, tender story.
