Lavie Tidhar is an Israeli author (born just ten miles from Armageddon) who has lived and worked in South Africa and presently in the UK. He is the author of the novel "Osama," that won the 2012 World Fantasy Award, "A Man Lies Dreaming," that won the £5000 Jerwood Fiction Uncovered Prize, and "Central Station," that won the John W.
